The Epic LEGO TARDIS Timelapse Video Reaches New Heights

Less than 72 hours ago, BBC Worldwide Australia & New Zealand posted a timelapse video of their life-size replica TARDIS (made entirely out of LEGO!) being built from scratch. This video included fun facts about the build, including that it took more than 75,000 LEGO bricks and more than 300 man-hours to build the model!

In just over two days, the video has been viewed more than 14.5 million times, shared more than 186,000 times and had more than 191,000 likes.

The LEGO TARDIS was originally commissioned to celebrate the partnership between LEGO and BBC Worldwide, as well as the launch of the LEGO Doctor Who Ideas set and the Doctor Who-themed packs for the multi-platform video game, LEGO Dimensions. The reaction to this video shows the power of joining global brands like LEGO and Doctor Who, and the value Doctor Who fans place on such exciting retail-led partnerships.
