The Wiggles have relaunched in the US with a big G’day at the Australian Consulate in NYC with meet-and-greets, performance and a few little Emma’s!
Despite a rainy grey day outside, inside the Australian Consulate the colours were popping when The Wiggles took the stage for their US relaunch. Graciously hosted by the Australian Consulate, The Wiggles came to meet-and-greet and of course to sing and dance with their young fans. Next up, Anthony, Lachy, Simon and Emma will perform at the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, New Jersey and a few more East Coast locations before finishing their whirlwind 12-day long US tour, ending with a three city Emma and Lachy tour in Canada.
It was great to see Gisela Abrams (SVP Global Partnerships at The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association), Paul Field (Managing Director at The Wiggles) and Alex Ishchenko (Licensing & Merchandise at The Wiggles) at the event held at the Australian Consulate in NYC to be a part of the relaunch of The Wiggles in the US.
Wiggles toys will be available in the US at select Barnes & Noble stores during the back to school period. In Canada, the toy and sporting goods and DVD line is carried by Toys “R” Us and Wal-Mart. Fun 2 Play Toys are the North American master toy partners, Stoneridge Cycle the sporting goods licensee, Riley Blake for fabric and home DIY and Kino Lorber rounds out the current offering with home entertainment. The Wiggles can be viewed on Universal Kids and Hulu in the US and Treehouse TV and Netflix in Canada. And Everyone can check out their YouTube channel as well! Fruit salad, yummy yummy!
