Radio Velvet, Kings Comics and Hasbro, a global branded entertainment leader, are pleased to present Transformers: More than Meets the Eye — a world-exclusive exhibition, celebrating the incredible universe of Transformers, through the eyes of its fans and collectors, plus, six acclaimed artists.
Curator, Eddie Zammit has assembled private toy collections, novel licensed products, and movie memorabilia — to create an immersive experience in the lower level of Kings Comics’ iconic store in Sydney.
“This project transported me right back to my childhood. I was filled with nostalgia for the Transformers franchise – and remember vividly the phenomenon it unleashed during the peak of the 1980s,” says Zammit.

Transformers: More than Meets the Eye also features original artworks created exclusively for the exhibition, by artists inspired by the Transformers story. Each of the six artists commissioned by Zammit, have re-imagined their favourite bot in their own distinct style.
