Claris Joins Jasnor’s Stellar Stable of Iconic Brands and Characters

In the mountains of France lived a kind mouse called Claris who dreamed about clothes, and of moving to Paris. ‘‘Do I risk it?’’ thought Claris. It certainly seems this could be the one chance to follow my dreams…

She may be pint-sized, but Claris the mouse has been on more adventures than most! From fashion shows in Paris, to a seaside adventure on the French Riviera, to a thrilling dash through the streets of New York, this beloved fashion-designer mouse has featured in five best-selling children’s books (published by Hardie Grant Children’s Publishing, with half a million copies sold worldwide), written and illustrated by Megan Hess. The series follows the delightful rhyming tales of Claris, the chicest mouse in Paris, and her friends as they embark on exciting adventures around the globe!

In the sixth book titled “The Secret Crown” (released 5th October 2022), Claris embarks on an adventure with her best-friend Monsieur to find an exclusive club in London.

In early 2023, Claris will embark another adventure – onto the shelves of stores in Australia and New Zealand and into the hearts of young and old!

Already famous for iconic book characters including bears (Paddington), rabbits (Peter Rabbit) and even caterpillars (The Very Hungry Caterpillar), Jasnor is excited to welcome another famous character — in the form of a pint-sized Parisian mouse — into their stable of iconic brands and characters. In addition to a range premium plush toys, Jasnor also holds the global rights to design and manufacture a collection of stationery essentials, accessories, nursery and feeding products, to bring the brave and bold mouse to life across a number of key gifting categories.

Partnering with exclusive retailers, Claris the Mouse will come to life in-store from February 2023. The launch collection, supported by in-store displays, will include a premium plush in two sizes, stationery items (including a notebook, stationery set, pencil set, washable markers, colouring set and pencil case), accessories including a backpack and book bag, and feeding items (lunch box, cutlery set, dinner set, lunch bag), all featuring beautiful illustrations of the charming character from the best-selling books.

However, this is just the beginning for the global merchandise campaign for Claris (which will also see Claris plush on the shelves of the iconic FAO Schwarz in New York City for Christmas!) — with a further line-up of exciting new formats set to launch for second half 2023.
