Paddington 2 will be released for the first time in Australia on 21st December 2017. Written by StudioCanal, Paddington 2 is the follow-up to Paddington in 2015, which scored an amazing 98% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Paddington 2 scored the biggest UK opening for StudioCanal with the critically acclaimed sequel taking home $10.9 million in its first weekend, a 59 percent higher gross than its record-breaking predecessor amassed over the same period.
