Arcade game history has landed at Australian retailer, Best & Less with exclusive PAC-MAN and Space Invaders sleepwear and daywear apparel launching for boys, girls, men and women.
The ‘Games Arcade’ campaign brokered by Merchantwise Licensing on behalf of Bandai Namco and Square Enix coincides with the 40-year anniversary of PAC-MAN.
Extensively supported in-store and digitally, the campaign also gives two consumers the chance to relive arcade gaming history at home with the opportunity to win either a PAC-MAN upright arcade game or a Space Invaders upright arcade.
Featuring PAC-MAN, Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde, this 40th anniversary PAC-MAN range of sleepwear and outwear for the entire family celebrates not just a video game icon but an everlasting cultural icon. Developed and released in 1980, PAC-MAN is today a full brand franchise extending beyond gaming into film and live events.
“We are really thrilled to be bringing arcade game history to Best & Less with this unique ‘Games Arcade’ campaign which sees both gaming icons, PAC-MAN and PAC-MAN™&©BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc.

As popular today as it was upon its launch in 1978, Space Invaders landed in Best & Less in April with a range of retro clothes for the kids. Deemed one of the most influential and successful video games of all time, referenced in film and TV shows all over the world, Space Invaders is old school gaming at its finest.
