It was Bluey’s day at the annual ATA Awards with the much-loved kids brand winning three awards, including ‘Pre-School License of the Year’. This is the second year in a row that that Bluey and BBC Studios have won this prestigious industry accolade, having won the award last year after the licensing program had launched in November 2019.
The ‘Pre-School License of the Year’ is a reflective award acknowledging the achievements of the license in 2020 and awarded to BBC Studios who hold the global merchandising rights for Bluey. Bluey also won in other categories, submitted by global toy partner, Melbourne-based Moose Toys, including ‘Plush Product of the Year’ (Bluey: Friends Plush) and ‘Judges Choice Award 0 – 6 years’ (Bluey Pool Time Fun Playset).
The ATA Program of Awards is an important part of the annual Australian Toy Hobby and Licensing Fair, which celebrates outstanding achievements in the toy industry through products, licenses and individual successes. The Toy Hobby and Licensing Fair is the largest annual trade fair for the toy industry in Australia.
