The iconic Australian preschool property, The Wiggles, were last night awarded the Australian Preschool property of the year at the inaugural Australian Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA) awards ceremony at Leonda on the Yarra in Melbourne.
The Wiggles unique brand of song and dance is loved by preschool children everywhere and given this hotly contested category included the likes of Paw Patrol, PJ Masks and Peppa Pig and other licensed properties from around the world, it truly is a remarkable achievement. The Wiggles’ Emma’s Ballet Class was also awarded the #1 Publishing & Paper Good licensing product of the year thanks to the unique talents of The Wiggles’ publishing licensee Five Mile Press.
Paul Field – Managing Director of The Wiggles commented:
“We are so grateful to The Wiggles licensing and retail partners who have developed and delivered a sensational consumer product program to a whole new generation of Wiggles fans!”
It is hard to fathom that The Wiggles have been entertaining preschool children all over the world for over 27 years and the appeal of Emma, Lachy, Simon and Anthony has not only continued The Wiggles legacy but enhanced it in their own unique way.
